Cheap Mp3 Players
Inexpensive MP3 Players have been around for years, but good ones are hard to come by. Quality, Size and Capacity are key in regards to portable MP3 Players. Apple's iPod holds more than 80% of the portable MP3 Player Market, and for a good reason. They look great, are small and often have a huge capacity. Unfortunately, these devices generally aren't considered "inexpensive". I'll list a few things to look for, and then suggest some MP3 Players to look into.
1) Quality: As a rule, don't buy a no-name MP3 Player. They're often very cheaply made, break after a few weeks
of use, and often don't interface well with computers. Go for big name brands like Apple, Creative, Sony, etc.
Generally, you get what you pay for.
2) Size: This is entirely up to you, but most people follow the school of "smaller is better". Devices have shrunk exponentially, and the devices of yesteryear look like bricks compared to MP3 Players today. Try to purchase something that weighs no less than 10 ounces, but make sure that what you're buying feels/looks substantial. If it feels like all case, toss it. That's just a sign that it's poorly manufactured.
